The DJI Air 3 Could Come With a Dual-camera System

An improved camera system may be included in the rumored DJI Air 3. In a set of images provided to WinFuture by leaker Roland Quandt, the gimble mounted to the front of the device has two camera sensors on it.

That might be an improvement over the DJI Air 2’s single half-inch sensor and the Air 2S’s single one-inch camera, both of which are capable of recording 4K videos at up to 60 frames per second. The DJI Air 3 could more closely resemble the expensive Mavic 3 with the addition of a dual camera system.

Additionally, according to the leaked photos, the DJI Air 3’s battery size may be 4,242mAh rather than the DJI Air 2S’s 3,500mAh battery, which currently provides about 31 minutes of flight time.

A new DJI RC-N2 controller may also exist; it resembles the DJI RC controller unveiled in May by having two thumbsticks placed above a sizable display.

The DJI Air 3 has few details outside of these pictures and its specifications. But according to an Amazon listing spotted by WinFuture, the device could cost £962 (~$1,213 Utilizing the RC-N2 controller, USD).

Additionally, there are two Fly More bundles available for £1,199 (roughly $1,512 USD) with DJI’s old RC-2 controller or £1,379 (roughly $1,739 USD) with the new RC-N2 controller, both of which include extra batteries and other accessories.

Although the Mavic 3 also has two camera sensors—one main camera and one telephoto lens—it doesn’t appear that the Hasselblad branding will be present on the DJI Air 3.
